Brad is the last American professional male in to place in the top-5 in the ITU World Championships (1992) and still holds the Hawaii Ironman 24&under age division American record at 8:57 (1989).

In early 2020 at age 55, Brad high jumped 5’0″ (1.52m) to top the early-season USA Masters Rankings and reach a #3 world ranking. In 2016 at the age of 51, Brad high jumped 5’5″ (1.65m) at a practice session, equivalent to an All-American and top-10 national ranking in the 50-54 age group.
